About Us
Davinia Saglio, grew up riding and driving horses. As a child she helped her parents show a 6 horse hitch of mares and a string of halter horses all over the Northeast and Midwest. The farm was named Winter Hill Farm and 50 head of Registered Percheron Draft horses called the farm home. They raised an average of 10 foals a year and stood 2-3 Stallions. Davinia was involved with all aspects from the showing to the raising and training of the horses. Upon her parents retiring from breeding horses, Davinia took over in 2010, with a much reduced herd of horses and moving to her Grandfathers farm in Hartford CT.
Currently standing the home bred stallion, Hidden Treasures Enzo. He descends from the lead mare extraordinaire Lucas Meggens Lady Royal and by RP Jagger a good quality Windermere's King Cong grandson. Enzo stands 18 hands but is very refined, he has brains and beauty a quality a stallion needs to possess. Correct in confirmation with clean legs and super feet. He has proven to also be an exceptional Sport horse stallion. Passing on his qualities to his foals our of light horse mares. They are easy to train and have a super temperament.
